You start with
ten hearts.
Keeping them is the hard part.

CheeseSMP is a lifesteal survival server with an economy the players actually run. Take hearts off the people who have them, sell what you dig up for whatever the market will bear, and try to still be standing at the end of the season.

What you are actually signing up for

Four things hold this server together. None of them are decoration.

01 Lifesteal

Hearts are currency too

Everyone spawns with ten hearts. Kill a player and you take one of theirs, up to a cap of twenty. Die to the world and you lose one. Hit zero and you are eliminated until someone spends a heart to bring you back.

  • +1 heart per kill, capped at 20
  • −1 heart on a natural death
  • Revived players come back on 2 hearts
  • Withdraw hearts as items — they can be traded, sold or stolen
02 Economy

Prices nobody set but you

There is no admin shop propping up the market. What things cost is whatever the next person will pay, and that changes week to week as the map gets stripped.

  • Server-wide auction house for anything you can hold
  • Player-run shops you stock and price yourself
  • Secure trade windows — no more drop-and-pray
  • Sell wands and bulk selling for the grinders
03 Progression

Something to come back for

Ranks and prestige give the long game some shape, and there is usually an event running for people who would rather fight over it than farm it.

  • Rank ladder with prestige once you top out
  • Crates, kits and daily login rewards
  • Personal vaults so a death is not a wipe
  • KOTH and dark auction events on a rotation
04 Fair play

Cheaters get caught here

A lifesteal server lives or dies on whether the fights are honest. We run layered anti-cheat with anti-xray on top, and staff who actually read reports.

  • Grim, Vulcan and Spartan running together
  • Ore obfuscation and ray-trace anti-xray
  • Exploit and dupe patching kept current
  • Appeals and reports handled in Discord

How to join

Under a minute, whichever edition you own.

  1. 01

    Java Edition

Open Minecraft, hit MultiplayerAdd Server, and put cheesesmp.top in the address box. Leave the port alone.

  2. 02

    Bedrock, console or mobile

Under ServersAdd Server, use the address cheesesmp.top with port 19132. You land in the same world as everyone on Java.

  3. 03

    Register once, then play

First time in, type /register <password> <password>. After that it is /login <password> on each join. That is the whole setup — go find someone with hearts.

Questions people actually ask

If yours is not here, ask in the Discord — someone is always around.

Do I need an account to play?

Yes — the first time you join, run /register <password> <password> in chat, then /login <password> every time after that. This protects your items and your balance if somebody tries to join on your name.

Can I play on Bedrock or mobile?

You can. Add cheesesmp.top on port 19132 in the Bedrock server list. Java and Bedrock players share one world, one economy and one auction house.

What Minecraft version do I need?

The server runs 1.21.11, and older Java clients back through recent 1.21 and 1.20 versions can connect too. If your client is very old, update it and try again.

Is there a whitelist or an application?

No. Add the IP, register, and you are in. There is no form to fill in and nobody to wait on.

Is the store pay to win?

The store sells ranks, cosmetics and convenience perks. Nothing on it hands you hearts, and nothing replaces having to go and take them off somebody.

I got banned and I think it was wrong.

Open a ticket in the Discord and say so. Punishments get reviewed by a human, and they do get reversed when we got it wrong.

About this website

cheesesmp.top is the official website of the CheeseSMP Minecraft server, operated by the CheeseSMP staff team. It exists to tell you what the server is, how to connect to it, and where to find our Discord, our store and our voting pages. Everything on this site is readable without an account.

Signing in is optional and only ever used for one thing: linking a Minecraft username to an owner so we can attach purchases, ranks and support tickets to the right person. If you choose to sign in with Google, we ask Google for your name and email address and nothing else. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, your contacts or your calendar, we do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

The full detail — what we store, why we store it, how long we keep it and how to get it deleted — is in our Privacy Policy. The rules for playing on the server are in our Terms of Service. Questions about either go to cheesesmp.help@gmail.com.
